To request access to a MyPage account, please follow these three steps in sequence.
- Get an EPO smartcard
First of all, in order to access MyPage, you need to have a smartcard delivered by the European Patent Office and the corresponding pin number. Smartcards are used for online filings (eOLF), but are also used to secure the access to your MyPage account. A smartcard can be requested through the link https://bpp.economie.fgov.be/bpp-portal/web/guest/efiling
Once you have received your smartcard (and pin code), you should fill in 2 forms: an online form and a paper form. Both forms are needed for security reasons. - Fill in the online form:
Connect to the following address: https://bpp.economie.fgov.be/bpp-portal/web/guest/mypage
Insert your smartcard and click on the link “register your smartcard”.
This link will not work if you have not connected a valid smartcard.
To be able to give you access to MyPage, it is essential that all the fields in the form are filled in. - Fill in a paper form:
Please fill in the file in annex, print it, sign it, and send the scanned document back to us to the e-mail address piie.bpp-helpdesk@economie.fgov.be or simply by replying to this message.
Only after all the above actions have been executed, we will be able to analyze your request for a MyPage account.
Please note that MyPage accounts are currently available only for Patent Attorney Offices and Payment Agencies that have a current account within the Belgian Intellectual Property Office. The paper form in step 3 will allow you to request a current account if you do not have one yet. For more information about current accounts and payments done through this method, please contact the accounting services at the following address: piie.accountancy@economie.fgov.be.
Please also note that when you give the rights to access MyPage to a member of your team, it allows him to pay fees on your behalf.
