When using MyPage (or eOLF), you might receive a message that 'your card is blocked' similar to the screenshot below.
(chrome)
(firefox)
(internet explorer)
It might be that you (or someone else) repeatedly typed in a wrong password when trying to use the card.
In this case the software driver might have blocked the card.
You will be able to unlock your card yourself, but only with the help of an 'administrative password', which you'll have to request to the EPO by e-mailing them on support@epo.org. You'll have to inform them if you are already using the 'cryptovision' driver or still the old 'Gemalto' driver.
tip: if you see this icon in your toolbar, you have the cryptovision software installed
This is the typical procedure for the users who use already 'cryptovision' drivers.
(1) Make sure your smart card is correctly inserted in the reader.
(2) Start the cv act sc interface utility (Start => All Programs => cv cryptovision => cv act sc interface utility).
(3) Click Unlock PIN
(4) When the Unblock PIN tab is displayed, enter the Admin PIN under SO PIN. We advise you to copy and paste the code below to avoid any typing mistakes.
Your Admin/SO PIN is:
XXXXXX (this will be given by the EPO)
(5) Enter your desired PIN code twice. The PIN code should have 6-8 digits.
(6) Click “Unblock ”
(7) The PIN is Unlocked
Please note that the Administrative PIN has the same validity as your smart card.
